Grass Matting is different from the competition.

The unique self-cleaning grip surface is aimed at dispelling mud but will still give grip to vehicles and pedestrians as they cross the mat. The traction cylinder built into the underside of the mat also aids in gripping the surface, whether that be soil, grass or synthetic turf. These small cylinders prevent sliding and provide stability to the Grass Matting.

Grass Matting is light weight and very strong.

The high density polyethylene Grass Matting comes in sheets of 2440mm x 1130mm (8 ft x 4 ft) and a weight of 33kg. The light weight Grass Matting means that each is easily moved, loaded or stacked with the convenient hand holes.

To connect the sheets together, we offer urethane connectors for long-term applications, metal connectors for heavy and tracked equipment and U pins for slopes and cambers on soft surfaces. Each system ensures that the Grass Matting does not move as vehicles cross, reducing any potential damage and increasing grass protection.

Grass Matting Protects

One key aspect of the Grass Matting that allows for use on sensitive grass areas is their colour a light grey/green. This has been specified to reflect heat and light and not absorb as many other mat systems do with their black colouring.

This enables our Grass Matting to be used for effective grass protection in areas such as gardens, parks, golf courses and cemeteries. Just think of the way our mats can help your application in grass or particularly grass protection where vehicles have to cross.
